2009/10 DHB Planning Package


The Funding Package was distributed to DHBs with effect 22 December 2008. The 2009/10 Planning Package is attached below noting the following:
  • The Minister's Letter of Expectations was released 19 February 2009
  • The Operational Policy Framework and Services Coverage Schedule have been updated with effect June 2009. Further updates may occur
  • The Reporting Requirements have been released with effect 22 May 2009

The DHBNZ-coordinated Accountability Framework Group (AFG) is producing a SOI guidelines revised template in cooperation with the Ministry and central Government agencies. The revised template has been included on this site. Although not compulsory, DHBs are encouarged to utilise the template when producing their SOI draft for 2009/10. There will be a further iteration of the current draft to ensure even further clarity

UPDATE NOTES:
  1. NDHB has consented to its first draft SOI being placed on this site as a model. DHBs may find it useful as the draft is a reasonable example for providing clear measures of delivery performance against which the delivery of output classes are reported and audited.
  2. Note from SSC and Treasury concerning the length of Crown Entitiy SOIs. Note is attached to Part 2: Planning Guidelines component
